Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande is currently ranked 1st among all 28 Workforce Boards across the state, and we have held this distinction for the past 4 months.
“We are obviously very proud of this distinction and attribute this recognition to the hard work and dedication of our system staff,” said Lorenzo Reyes, Jr., CEO of Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande.
This is based on 10 measures set forth by the Texas Workforce Commission, who establishes operational guidelines for all of the workforce boards.
From December of 2011 to March of 2012, Workforce Solutions Upper Rio Grande has held this ranking. Moreover, for the past 2 years, we have been consistently ranked either Number 1 or Number 2.
These measures or performance trackers include the number of job postings filled, employer success rate, and total job seeker education achievement. We are currently exceeding 7 of these measures.
